• To buy or sell, Orchid Market need to know who you are.
• Login or Register and Login.
• Buy a Plant: Click on the -Buy- button.
• Sell a Plant:
• Select tab -Upload a Plant-
• Fill in the form’s mandatory fields.
• Add the optional data if you want.
• Add 2 pictures – one for the flower (or detail) – one for the complete plant.
• Click on the -Upload Plant- button.
• The Buyer’s Alias + E-Mail + Phone will be sent to the Seller.
• The Seller should contact the Buyer and arrange the sale by E-Mail or Phone.
• Orchid Market is NOT involved in the sale or delivery.

• Prepare your Plant-Name and Images for Upload:
• Please use the full official name of the plant.
• If unknown - provide a good description.
• Get two recent photos:
• - One photo of the Flower (or Details).
• - One photo of the complete Plant or Item.
• If possible, for scale, use a common item like a tennisball in your photos.
• For best display, try to crop your photos to a square size - width = height.
• Orchid Market will resize your images to width=900px - height=approx-900px.
• Suggestion: start with high quality photos - larger than 900x900px.
• Upload your product onto Orchid Market on the -Upload-a-Plant- tab:
• All the fields are required - except 'Flower Month - Smell - Comments'.
• Select an Orchid Group to sell your plant or -Wanted- if you are looking to buy a plant.
• Estimated Price for the plant - to be negotiated/finalised with Buyer.
• Flower Diameter and Plant Height in cm.
• Optionally add More-Details up to 100 characters.
• The unique Orchid-ID assigned should be used to eliminate faulty identification.
• Important Notices:
• Two photos are rquired - even if its the same photo twice.
• Please try to include a photo or web image of the flower.
• Buyers usually need both the flower and plant images to decide.
• Your Plant will NOT be visible to others till Approved by Admin.
• Your Plant will be Removed from Orchid Markets when:
• It has not sold on Orchid Market within 90 days.
• When any Buyer has made you an offer.
• You can re-activate your plant if the sale falls through.
• Please mark your plant as SOLD after a successful sale.

• Just click the - Buy - button.
• Your offer will be sent to the Seller who will get
• The Plant ID of the Orchid.
• The Name of the Orchid.
• Your Alias
• Your Email
• Your Phone Number
• It is then up to the Seller to contact the Buyer directly and arrange the sale.
• Orchid Market is NOT involved in the Payment OR the Delivery of Products.
• Payment and Delivery are arranged externally between the Buyer and Seller.
• Orchid Market does NOT take any responsibility for any Payment or Delivery problems.
• You will be able to cancel your offer on the OM website.

• To Manage your Orchids select My-Orchids on the top menu.
• If you are not logged-in you will end up on the Login page instead.
• You will be able to select the following on My-Orchids:
• - All your Active (Approved) Orchids.
• - Plants Uploaded but NOT Approved yet.
• - All the offers you Received from Buyers.
• - All the offers you Made to Sellers.
• - All the Orchids that you Sold so far.
• - All the Orchids that you Bought so far.
• On these screens you can Cancel Offers, Re-Activate plants, Mark them Sold and Delete them.

• If your plant exceeded the 90 day period, it cannot be re-activated.
• To try and sell it again, you will need to upload it from scratch.

• Orchid Market does NOT take any responsibility for users to adhere to existing guidelines from Orchid Authorities.
• Each Seller\Buyer must make sure to follow the rules, regulations and laws regarding selling\buying orchids.
• Native Orchid sales\purchases must follow the rules, regulations and laws governing Native Orchids.

• Also remember that Orchid Market DOES NOT take any responsibility for transactions, shipments and payments between Buyers and Sellers.

• I have got many divisions of the same plants filling up my greenhouse and need to sell them to reclaim some space for my other plants.
• Then I found that there is nowhere to sell them easily except at the Orchid Club monthly meetings.
• That is when I got the idea to create a website mainly for private Orchid Enthusiasts where they can sell or buy plants easily.
• My aim is to sell my own Orchids as well and not to make money from this website.
• I hope Orchid Market will be a market mainly for enthusiasts although there are no restrictions so commercial growers are also welcome.
• I hope Orchid Market will will stay an open an honest site for all to enjoy and will never require restrictions to prevent abuse.
• My wish is that Orchid Market will become a place where Orchid Enthusiasts meet each other and talk to one another.
